Full Speed (疾層(フルスピード)) is the thirty sixth chapter of the Sword Oratoria manga.

Summary[]

At the Loki Familia camp on the 50th Floor Raul and Aki wondered what was wrong with Bete and the others with Line noting that they looked more hotheaded than usual. Ais remembered the moment after Bell had defeated the Minotaur. Because the back of his shirt had been destroyed, his status was visible and she was able to see that all of his stats were at S and his status was even over the limit. She wondered if it could possibly be due to a skill of his and extended her hand so she could see but Riveria had stopped her, telling her that they couldn't see anymore.

Tsubaki went to Tiona to ask her why she was excited and she told her that it was because of an adventurer they had met on the way to the 18th Floor. This excited the blacksmith, who asked his name, but she did not remember it well so she incorrectly gave it to her. During dinner Finn announced that Riveria, Gareth, Ais, Tiona, Tione, Bete, Lefiya, Tsubaki, Raul, Alicia, Narvi, and Cruz would be part of the group that would go to the 59th Floor while the others stayed to take care of the camp, leaving Aki as the commander.

Tsubaki told Ais to show her her weapon as it probably required maintenance. As she did so she commented on how before she used to fight regardless of her condition and how she didn't see herself as more than a weapon, but now she had changed and softened. Ais asked her if she had become weak but Tsubaki told her that, compared to a sword, she had found a scabbard so she didn't have the need to always be sharp since she now had companions. Elsewhere Gareth went to talk to Tiona telling her that she should rest but she told him that she couldn't sit still because of the adventurer they saw. She added that she wanted to fight like him the next day and that she would protect Ais and the others. Realizing that it was nothing to worry about, Gareth decided to take her with him to train.

In her tent, Lefiya was very upset as she didn't want to fail the next day so Tione went to calm her down and after a few words she succeeded. Elsewhere, Raul was also worried. Aki told him to calm down and that he had gone before and come back alive several times so he should have more confidence but he told her that he might die due to the new species and in which case he wanted her to send the money he had saved to his family, to which she complained that he was like that again. Line asked if the floors below the 51st Floor were that scary to which Raul replied that below the 52nd Floor was like hell and that all the experience gained above the 50th Floor was useless there. Riveria arrived and told Raul not to upset them any more than necessary and proceeded to calm everyone down, telling them that they would be fine. Finn went to Bete who told him that he didn't need to be calmed down. The Pallum asked him if he hadn't been thinking about something for 6 days. He replied asking him to be in the vanguard to which Finn agreed.

On another floor of the dungeon, Ein informed Revis that Ais' group was moving asking her why she wasn't. She replied that her body consumed a lot of energy and the injuries she had were serious so she was resting. She assured Ein that they would reach the 59th Floor and that worst case scenario, it didn't matter if "Aria" died. Finally, she told Einn that she didn't care if they tried to use her but instead she would also act on her behalf and that Enyo should act on their own behalf from time to time, after which Ein left.

The next day the group arrived at the entrance to the 51st Floor. Bete and Tiona went ahead killing the monsters in their path while the others took care of the rest. Raul asked Tsubaki how she was so strong if she was a blacksmith, which she attributed to her habit to test her weapons in the dungeon to the point she had become so strong, surprising him. After that they found a group of Virgas which Ais and Bete attacked using Ariel while Riveria finished them off with Wynn Fimbulvetr. Once they reached the 52nd floor, Finn told them to avoid fighting as much as possible and not to get shot. Tsubaki was surprised by this and asked if he was serious about the shooting. At that moment, she heard a dragon roar and noticed it coming from below. At the same time Finn told Bete to dodge; as soon as he did a bolt of lightning erupted from where he had been. More bolts erupted from the ground, forcing the group to change direction. As they ran, Lefiya saw a spider web reach out to catch Raul and pushed him away, causing her to be taken in his place. She began to be drawn towards a Deformis Spider but the creature was killed when another lightning bolt came from the ground, causing Lefiya to fall though the hole it created.
