Summary[]
After saving Bell and Lefiya, Ryuu followed the two Evilus members and managed to catch them. After cutting their tendons to prevent them from committing suicide she asked them what their goal was and getting no answer she took out a Status Thief vial saying that she would kill anyone who opposed the Gods. Hearing this one of them, an Elf, began to laugh. He told her that her eyes were those of someone seeking revenge and asked if she didn't want to see those she had lost again. Ryuu replied that the dead could not return. He replied that she could see them again if she swore allegiance to his master. However, before he finished, knives were thrown at the necks of the two, killing them. Ryuu turned around and saw Ein, who reprimanded the men, calling them incompetent. Ein used a magic sword to launch a fireball to blow up the Kaensekis they had but Ryuu managed to dodge the blast in time. Due to the explosion the bodies had been destroyed without a trace, however, Ryuu was able to find a small spherical object shaped like an eye and the letter D on it.
The next day, Finn told Lefiya that they hadn't found anything but he still believed her, and that the hole was proof that what she said was true. He said that even if there was something, they wouldn't be able to find it at the moment so it was useless to keep searching. He assured her that they would investigate again and sent Raul to gather everyone.
Bete was surprised that Bell was there and asked Ais if it was true which she confirmed. He asked her if it was also true that he had spied on the women and Ais, embarrassed, told him that he had, which made him angry since he had manage to do it even though he never could. She tried to tell him that it was an accident but at that moment he calmed down and asked if he was already Level 2 which Ais confirmed. He asked her where he was and Ais was about to tell him but before she did she started thinking that maybe Bete was the person Bell wanted to reach. She imagined the scene of their meeting and hated it, so she lied to him and pointed in the wrong direction. After that Bell arrived as he wanted to say goodbye to her upon learning that she would leave first. She was surprised when he told her to take care, which made her feel happy, and she responded by telling him the same. Once he left she asked Lefiya what she was doing there behind a tree to which she replied with a trembling voice that she had come to prevent him from trying to do anything to her. Ais asked her if she had gone to say goodbye to him, causing the Elf to shut up.
Lefiya remembered the moment when she had given him a new pair of boots as well as thanked him for his help. Bell thanked her though Lefiya added that she would never forgive him for seeing Ais naked. She reaffirmed her will to get stronger and told him to get ready after which she left. Back in the present Lefiya told Ais that she had already told him everything she wanted to say and the two of them went with the rest of the group. Finn announced to the group that the Floor Boss Goliath had appeared and due to the current state of the Familia the elite members would be participating from the start so they could get back to the surface quickly. After Finn assigned them their positions, everyone headed to face the Goliath.
In the Room of Prayer Fels asked Ouranos what was happening to which Ouranos replied that his prayers did not reach the dungeon and it could be because a God had entered the dungeon. On the 8th Floor, the Loki Familia noticed that the dungeon was shaking so Finn sent a group to check on the others, pointing out that somewhere something they didn't know about could be happening.
Back on the surface, Riveria explained to Ais that Bell's group had stayed on the 18th Floor due to a matter they needed to attend. After saying goodbye to the Hephaestus Familia, the Loki Familia finally reached their home and were greeted by Loki who welcomed them.
Two days later, the Familia girls along with Loki were in Melen.
