Gones (落命(ゴーンズ)) is the sixty ninth chapter of the Sword Oratoria manga.

Summary[]

After entering Knossos to find their, the Loki Familia wandered through the maze until finding them dead in a room. One of them noted that Line was still alive but that she was going to die anyway. At that moment Bete came and started mocking the dead members, making everyone look at him in disbelief. After that, tears formed in Line's eyes, who died with a smile on her lips.

Three days later, Loki noticed that the Entertainment District was on fire while Ishtar was sent back to Heaven by Freya. Seeing the scene, Asfi asked Hermes how much of it had been part of his plan and which had been his purpose. Hermes replied that the world wanted a hero and that he would do whatever it took to create it.

At the Loki Familia home, after discussing what they knew, Finn deduced that Ishtar must had a key to enter Knossos and marked the search for that key as their current goal.

In the cafeteria, everyone was angry at Bete because of his words. When he arrived, Tiona asked him if he felt nothing for Line's death, informing him that she liked him, to which he replied saying that he hated weak women. Tiona and Tione tried to attack him but were stopped by Finn and Gareth. Bete said he was not going to take back what he said and Finn ordered him to leave for a while until he calmed down.

In a bar, after following him, Ais asked Bete why he wanted to become strong but he did not answer. Bete told her that being strong was the only thing that mattered and started mocking at everyone else at the bar. This annoyed Aisha, who said she would put him in his place along with her friends.

Bete won easily and started stepping on Aisha's head but was stopped by Ais, who put her sword to his neck. She said she didn't like that part of him but Bete didn't care and left. Later, Bete was depressed, commenting that he always did the same thing when he got drunk. While he was at it, an Amazoness came and declared that she loved him, asking him to give her children.
