Summary[]
Bete asked the Amazoness who she was and after recognizing her as one of the Amazonsesses he had faced in Melen she introduced herself as Lena Tally. Bete was surprised to learn that she liked him and when she tried to launch herself at him, he punched her. He asked her if she was okay but instead of answering him she said that with something like that she would surely get pregnant, which scared Bete.
He tried to get rid of her but finally gave up and decided to leave. Noticing that he was not going to return with his Familia, Lena offered him to go with her. Bete tried to reject her but agreed after being blackmailed by her after which she took him to an abandoned building in the former territory of the Ishtar Familia.
After taking him to the room on the top floor Lena put on lingerie and tried to seduce Bete but he refused and kicked her. She asked him why he did not let her sleep with him to which he replied that he did not like weak women and fell asleep.
In his dreams, Bete had a memory of his tribe. He recalled his father's teachings and how he had promised to become strong to protect his loved ones. On the day of his twelfth birthday, a monster had attacked his clan and killed everyone, leaving him as the sole survivor. After that, he went to Orario to obtain the necessary force to take revenge and to avoid having what he loved taken from him again.
After dreaming about his past, Bete woke up and saw that Lena was trying to get close to him, so he kicked her again. After deciding to look for the key to Knossos, and remembering that the Ishtar Familia was related to Evilus, he asked Lena if she knew anything about it.
In Knossos, Valletta cursed Ishtar for being defeated by Freya. Thanatos said that Freya's movement had been unexpected and things could have been successful if they were as planned. Valletta didn’t care and said the key they had given her was lost, saying that if Finn obtained it they would be finished. Thanatos asked her what she would do to which she replied that they would focus their search on Ishtar's former home.
