Summary[]
After explaining the situation to them, Finn ordered the Loki Familia to find the key to Knossos. In addition to this, Loki asked Ais to keep an eye on Bete. Ais was reluctant to do it at first, because of what she had said to Bete, but after talking with Loki about it she agreed to do it.
Bete asked Lena if she knew anything about the key and she said she believed she had seen it before and that she would tell him what she knew if he had a date with her. Meanwhile, Riveria went to see Airmid to talk about the cursed weapon they had obtained. Airmid explained that it was a very powerful curse, which she had only been able to eliminate using her magic. Because of this, it would be difficult to create an antidote but she assured her that she would.
At the dungeon, Bete wondered if all the Amazonesses were the same, surprised that Lena had chosen that place. Despite his attempts to annoy her, Lena continued to act the same, which irritated Bete.
Seeing she was serious, Bete called her an idiot, asking her if she didn't know her limit. She tried to tell him that would change but he denied it, stating that the weaks would always be unable to do something and they did not mix with the strong ones. To Bete's surprise, his words motivated Lena, who was determined to become stronger in order to be his wife. She also told him that she now understood that when he called people weak it wasn't an insult but a way to motivate them.
Hearing this, Bete recalled how two years ago, on an expedition, Line had said the same thing to him after he saved her and how she had asked him to let her follow him. He wondered what he had said to her and if it had been different she would still be alive. Lena called him and told him that, when she became strong, she would be his wife and that it was a promise to which he responded by telling her to shut up.
