Tiona Hiryute (ティオナ・ヒリュテ) is a first class adventurer and an executive member of the Loki Familia. She is the younger twin of the Hiryute Sisters. She is the reincarnation of one of the three great poets, Olna Garof.
Appearance[]
Tiona has medium length black hair and dark green eyes. Like all Amazonesses, she wears revealing clothing, wearing only a Tube top that only covers around her chest and a pareo around her waist, and always goes barefoot.
Personality[]
Tiona is an overly energetic Amazoness who likes teasing people, but is a caring friend. She is a very friendly woman who can easily break the ice and strike up a conversation with even the most difficult and closed off people, like Filvis.
She isn't the type to use her brain, which she admits herself, and is unable to read the mood. Tiona genuinely doesn't like to put much thought into things and prefers to keep everything simple. She enjoys fighting and has been noted to be a berserker in combat. Tiona often acts rashly and impulsively, such as when she charged at a Virga despite Finn's warning.
Unlike most of her race, she has no general interest in the opposite gender, having never tried to seduce a single man. She however does have a type, which is a human as old if not younger than her. She also has a complex about her chest size compared to other women.
She is more flexible and caring than her sister, as she doubted if it was okay to fight the Xenos as they supported and cared for each other, even letting Wiene go after seeing her save a child.
Tiona is fond of hero stories, a taste she developed in Telskyura since they were her only source of entertainment, and is almost just as knowledgeable about the topic as Bell is. In particular, she really likes the Argonaut story, which made her laugh a lot the first time she read it. The tale eventually became Tiona's favorite as she continued to grow up in Telskyura due to being a comfort she could turn to even in the worst of times.
Due to the importance and role that the story had in her life, Tiona ended up adopting the Argonaut's philosophy of always smiling no matter how severe her situation was.
This attitude is not to support herself but her way of trying to bring joy to others and help them overcome the difficult problems they face and the hard experiences they have by bringing them the same happiness that the story brought to her.
She tenderly cares for her loved ones and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect them. After seeing how severely Tione was affected by killing Seldas, she became determined to prevent her from going through something similar again. Whenever she was assigned to kill a roommate of hers, Tiona would go with Kali to take her sister's place, dutifully undertaking the task despite her own fondness for them. Furthermore, she has shown to possess great mental strength as she endured killing all of her roommates and she has remained steadfast in her decision to always keep a positive front.
History[]
Tione and Tiona were born in Telskyura and were forced to join the Kali Familia from the moment they were born. Both sisters didn't know who their parents were, but knew that they were sisters. She reached Level 2 on the same day Tione did after killing an Amazoness she knew in a fight to the death. Soon after, both sisters became students to Argana and Bache. Around a year after reaching Level 2, Tiona found her first hero story.
The day before her seventh birthday, Tiona asked Kali to let her and Tione leave the country, which Kali granted a couple of days later, much to the sisters' surprise. The sisters traveled across the land, temporarily joining a different Familia for a year, during which both sisters reached Level 3.
They arrived at Orario years later when they were 12 years old. After agreeing to join the Familia of the adventurer that defeated them, they proceeded to defeat everyone that challenged them, only to lose to Finn and Gareth when they were challenged by the Loki Familia.
Following a dungeon expedition they went on shortly after joining, both sisters reached Level 4.
Abilities[]
Tiona is Tione's equal in terms of combat prowess. According to the author, she could sometimes win against Ais in a pure duel if she managed to make a reversal against Ais.
Exceptional Physical Prowess: As a Level 6, Tiona's physical abilities are all extremely superior compared to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, her abilities are also far superior to those of any Level 5 or below.
Exceptional Strength: Tiona is usually regarded as one of the strongest members of her familia in terms of physical strength, considered second only to Gareth. As a high Level 5, she was already capable of wielding heavy weapons such as her Urga with great ease and managed to shake Ottar's defense by performing a downward swing with it. After reaching Level 6 she has been shown able to dig through Knossos' adamantite walls with the adequate equipment as well as cause numerous injuries to the Power Bull Demi Spirit, whose skin was as resistant as adamantite, at the cost of destroying her weapon.
Exceptional Endurance and Stamina: Tiona has displayed high physical stamina and tolerance to pain. In the expedition to the 59th Floor she fought monsters on the 58th Floor for eight hours straight, although she was already showing signs of fatigue. During her duel with Bache she was able to overcome the intense pain and damage caused by her Velgus, the effects of which are even worse than the poison of a Poison Vermis. She then continued to fight effectively despite continuing to expose herself even more to the magic, and consequently suffer its effects worsening, as the battle continued until she was victorious. She also has notable physical stamina.
Skilled Fighter: Tiona is a skilled fighter in close combat. Her unique style of combat is the fiercest within her familia, and along with her sister, they are the best of the entire familia in unarmed combat. Ais herself recognized that if they fought without weapons, she would be quickly defeated.
She is also skilled at teamwork with the other members of her familia; by coordinating with Bete, and in conjunction with Tione's relentless assault, they were able to deal with and even begin to pressure Asterius, a Level 7 monster. Tiona pointed out that if Tione had coordinated with her and Bete they could have easily beaten him.
Enhanced Senses: After acquiring her falna, Tiona's senses became much sharper and far better than those of a normal person. Her senses further improved with each subsequent rank up.
Enhanced Lung Capacity: Tiona can hold her breath for much longer than a normal person, capable of staying underwater for around an hour.
Bilingualism: Tiona can speak and read both her native Amazonian language as well as Koine, the common language.

Diving (潜水): Diving enables Tiona to swim as well as a fish, and also increases the power of physical attacks when underwater.
Abnormal Resistance (耐異常): Abnormal Resistance negates the effect of abnormalities such as poison. Thanks to it she could repeatedly touch Bache's magic while only suffering painful injuries, whereas the magic normally makes limbs fall off with a single touch.

Urga (ウルガ): Urga is a large double bladed sword and a first-class special weapon made from the finest adamantite by the Goibniu Familia. It costed 120,000,000 valis. The first one melted when Tiona attacked a Virga, so she later asked for a second one to replace it, acquiring a debt of 89,000,000 valis due to it, which was also destroyed during her battle with the Power Bull Demi Spirit, forcing her to ask for another loan to buy a third one.
